Below are a couple of email testimonials from 3 girls at 2 different seminars this summer. I'm so proud of all of the girls who came to the seminars. They are using the techniques and are saving big! Thought these might inspire some of you. Be blessed!

I just want to tell you how cool God is to always fill in the gaps of where finances are missing! This month would have been pretty rough but to see how God is always faithful and never a moment too late. What I was dreading on paper (wondering how we would make it with recent unexpected expenses) and seeing how we always had enough and are even STOCKING UP!! God is so good and so awesome as he teaches us to be BETTER wives, and true proverbs 31 women who are money savvy.

Total spent- $167 on $340 worth of groceries and toiletries
Total saved- $173

I can't wait to stockpile even and SAVE tons more next month.
Thanks so much, for equipping us with something that will bless our families for MANY years to come! I pray you reap a harvest from what seeds you have planted!

~Laura

Was going to tell you about my Kroger trip today! I bought 42 items worth $80.00 and paid $39.50 . Was able to get at least 4 items for free! I look forward to my next trip. I've still been able to cut my shopping in half from $400.00 to $200.00. I plan on going lower but I'm still stocking up!

Thanks for everything!
Amy

~Another Seminar!~

Monday evening I will be teaching another seminar, but this time the girl hosting is calling it a "Sassy Savings Party!". She is having dinner & desserts = yummy! I will try to remember to take pictures this time. I just get so wrapped up in what we are talking about that I don't think to grab my camera. I promise, I will try to remember tomorrow!
I had a funny thing happen to me Saturday night while at a birthday party. A girl came up to me and said "you are the queen of sassy savings!" I smiled and said yes. She said that she was from the Austin area and has her entire town reading. She was the cutest and sweetest little momma of 3 girls! I got to meet the husband too. They were an adorable family! Thank you so much for giving me that compliment. Sometimes I wonder if I am just wasting my time doing this blog because it does take up a great deal of time between my research and then just the time typing and such. Then I will have a person say that they check it everyday and I remember why I do it. So, thank you for the reminder.
This week will be a little off for me. I don't plan on doing any shopping..You heard me right...No shopping for a week! I will post any great deals I run across between now and Wednesday. I won't have internet access after that until next week.
Hope you all have a very blessed week!

~Menu Planning Monday~

How has everyone been doing with the menu planning? I think I've mentioned it before that my cute hubby chooses the menu for the week. Once written down, based off of what we have in the freezer & pantry, I then decide what day to make it. It works out great because he gets to be part of the process too. Plus, he loves choosing the meals!
Here is a rundown of what we will be eating this week:
Poppyseed Chicken
Chicken/Noodle/Cheese casserole
Tacos & pinto beans
Breakfast Burritos
Steak, potato & green beans
Enchiladas
Hot dogs (eating at a birthday party )
Once I have the main course set, I can add some sides to complete the meal.

~CVS Today!~

Okay, I'm back on track now! We have a routine that every Sunday morning I look over my ads and plan my CVS trip and get my coupons ready. We drop by CVS and do a quick run through to get my bargains and then head over to church. Sadly, some of the items are already sold out by 9 am! Luckily today a sweet cashier told me that they were offering the 10 count pens at the same price and ECB as the 8 count in the ad since they sold out so quickly. That one worked in my favor!
Another tip....this one is VERY IMPORTANT....ALWAYS BE NICE TO THE CASHIER!!! They remember you and will have favor on you and your coupons in the future. Promise ;)
