My conversation today while eating lunch with my 3 year old.
"Mommy, where did you get these peaches?"
Me: "At Kroger"
3 yr old: "Were they on sale?" (with brow raised)
Me: "No"
3 yr old: Looking shocked with big eyes!
Me: "But, I used a coupon on them"
3 yr old: (Sigh of relief) "Oh, okay Mommy"
I love that at 3 years old she is already understanding certain concepts of money. I also love that she wants to buy things on sale and get a good deal. She will ask me often if we got a good deal on something. When I say yes, it makes her very happy!
